The present day structure of the hotel dates back to 1910; which was a boarding house called  'THE MANOR HOUSE'. It later acquired the entity of a hotel named 'Swiss Hotel' in the early 50's.

The Swiss Hotel comprises elegant rooms, a Party Room Lounge, a spacious dining area along with car parking and landscaped gardens. Besides, it holds the rare distinction of being the only hotel to own a yacht in Nainital - Merlin.

The rooms in the hotel overlook vast greenery through large glass windows. The rooms are most graciously done up and the wooden ceiling and furniture to create an informal yet elegant resort ambience of the old world charm.
